First OmniPeace/Kitson School in Senegal, Africa

Second OmniPeace school in Malawi, Africa built by OmniPeace, Peter Morton and Elliot Sutton
With the support of our consumers around the world, OmniPeace is responsible for raising close to half a million dollars for charities like Millenium Promise, buildOn™, UNICEF and V-Day's Foundation City of Joy. Sales made thru Kitson Los Angeles and OmniPeace made this school possible which was the first school in the Village of Longhor, Senegal in over 40 years. The ground breaking and construction of the OmniPeace/Kitson Primary School began last November and was spearheaded by OmniPeace CEO and Founder Mary Fanaro, who worked with villagers to assemble the school's foundation, brick by brick. School was completed in January 2009.

The second OmniPeace school was built in Malawi Africa by OmniPeace, Peter Morton, creator of Hard Rock concept and previous owner of Hard Rock Hotel and Casino/Las Vegas, and Elliot Sutton, native New Yorker and real estate magnate. Located in the farming village of Gumulira in Malawi, the school broke ground on December 7, 2009 and was completed on March 15, 2010. Currently fourteen hundred students are enrolled, almost half of whom are girls, across eight grade levels. This school in Malawi becomes the second school in Africa built by OmniPeace in collaboration with buildOn.

Says founder Mary Fanaro, "We often forget in this country how much education is a luxury and how vital it is to a child's success in having a voice and a choice. Education powerfully contributes to breaking the cycle of poverty and is an important component of Millennium Promise's plan for a poverty-free Africa, something we are proud to support." Continues Fanaro, "The building of all the OmniPeace schools is further proof that 'Fashion Truly Can Save Lives.' It is our responsibility as those who can influence fashion and culture to influence it for a greater good. We are proud of our fashion and accessories but we are even more proud of the work we have done to raise awareness and funding for causes that need our support and our voices on a global level."

Mary Fanaro said, "OmniPeace fashion lets you look stylish and shows you care all at the same time. Purchase of OmniPeace fashion makes a contribution to peace, education, human rights and an end to extreme poverty, all at the same time. By building schools in Africa we not only break the cycle of poverty through education but we help children find the freedom and power to have and make better choices for a better life.

Added owner of Kitson, "When you make your next fashion purchase, I hope it will be OmniPeace because I can't think of a better way to use the appeal of fashion and looking chic to raise money for those in Africa who so desperately need our help.  All of us working together can and will make a difference."

How Can We End Poverty By The Year 2025?

One of OmniPeace's beneficiaries is Millennium Promise, whose goal is to end extreme poverty in sub-Saharan Africa by 2025

How You Can Help?

There comes a time in every generation when the necessity for change is thrust upon us. A time when civilization redefines itself and momentum builds to bring down a status quo that people are no longer willing to accept; the abolition of slavery, woman's liberation, the fall of the Berlin wall, apartheid and now extreme poverty and disease. Help give the poorest people in the world a chance to survive by purchasing an OmniPeace branded product.

Additionally, OmniPeace partners with other charities whose vision is in line with our own. Click on the “Partners” link to the left and find out how your charitable donation has made a difference..

How You Can Spread OmniPeace's Message?

OmniPeace is now a global brand and the more people we reach, the more we contribute to those in need. Help spread OmniPeace's mission by adding us on your social networks (Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Blogger, etc.) and posting our banner advertisements on your own websites (To request banner please email office@omnipeace.com). Without solidarity to our mission to support peace, education, human rights and the end of extreme poverty in sub-Saharan Africa by 2025, the suffering will never end.
